How Special Education Tutors Can Help

One-on-one tutoring

Building on your child’s IEP

All children can benefit from tutoring in subjects they may be struggling with. Your child’s educational team has an Individualized Education Program they are following, and our tutors are able to help reinforce that with some extra one-on-one attention. Our special education tutors know that repetition, patience, and customized lessons for children with learning challenges are important. And they have the experience to know how to make it all work.

Mild to Moderate Disabilities

Students with mild to moderate disabilities may struggle in reading or math, or have a speech impairment that requires therapy. Even a physical disability, such as a hearing impairment or health impairment, can be mild. This would include impaired vision, developmental delay, and mild to moderate disabilities on the autism spectrum. We can work with you to ensure that your child’s special needs are matched with the right teacher/tutor.

Help students with a learning disability stay on track

Our tutors are certified teachers who can build personalized lessons and explain concepts in an engaging way, making a lasting impression on your child. All online tutoring sessions are one-on-one and face to face. Whether your child is a visual, tactile, or auditory learner, they’ll earn the breakthrough moments that prepare them to succeed in school – and beyond.
