Everything you need to know
We only work with experienced teachers
Other tutoring companies hire subject matter experts, college students, experienced professionals, and others who are not trained teachers. Though they may be accomplished in their fields, these people don’t have the same skillsets or experience that teachers have. Being able to assess a student’s capabilities, create a personalized lesson or curriculum, employ different methods of teaching to suit the individual student, and then evaluate the student’s progress, are critical to successful tutoring. And those are the skills you will only get with an actual teacher.
Tutor on your schedule and in your home
For in-person tutoring or online tutoring, sessions take place in the comfort and safety of your own home. No need to drop your child off at a learning center or someone’s home. Your tutor will arrive in person, ready to work with your child, or you can schedule live one-on-one sessions online, and you don’t have to go anywhere.
How it Works
1. Connect with us
Just provide your contact info and we will be in touch to discuss your child’s needs and to answer any questions you have. This is a no-obligation conversation, and it’s how we get started finding your tutor.
2. Get matched with the right tutor for your child
Based on what you tell us, we check our network of teacher/tutors and select the best match. Our in-person tutors will know your community’s curriculum because they are part of your community. And our online tutoring service allows us to serve any students in any location.
3. Parent/Tutor free consultation
Once we put you in contact with a tutor, you’re able to talk directly with them about your child’s needs and come up with a plan that you both agree with. If for any reason you don’t feel it’s the right match, we will be happy to recommend another tutor. From here, you’re free to schedule your tutoring session(s) at mutually convenient times.
4. Get a written recap from the tutor after the session is complete
Your child’s tutor will send you a session recap that can be shared with your child’s teacher, if you choose. The recap helps you keep current with your child’s academic progress.
